Into The Wild – Theatrical Trailer

by John on November 25, 2011 in Movie Trailers

"Into The Wild" is in many ways the rightful successor of "Stand By Me" (1986) - an epic adventure and self discovery journey, which throws us into the inner world of the hero(s) and his own unique way to find meaning in his life. Both movies are tremendously moving and inspiring - because the characters are so beautifully portrayed as genuine human beings we can all identify with. Based on a true story. After graduating from Emory University, top student and athlete Christopher McCandless abandoned his possessions, gave his entire 000 savings account to charity and hitchhiked to Alaska to live in the wilderness. Along the way, Christopher encounters a series of characters who shape his life. Directed by Sean Penn. Soundtrack by Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) Starring: Emile Hirsch, Vince Vaughn, Kristen Stewart, Catherine Keener

@DominicRiv Depends how you look at it. yes in the eyes of the traditionalist but the world you describe is one of conforming to expected behaviour that keeps this current toxic society functioning and there is nothing wrong with that per say. career, house, posessions, mortgage, kids. equates to over population, economic chaos through loans, credit cards. This young man had dreams of being an adventurer and wanted freedom from that corporate working world. Many of us have felt the same.

@helloeverybody995 What do you need/want? The emulators? I’ve been using emulators since 1997, so I know quite a bit about them. Which ones are best, easiest to run, which have netplay support, etc. If you need any help with downloading from best/safest sites, installing, using, etc….I can hook you up. I also know a great site for movies. Actually, i saw quite a few Chaplin flicks there but I didn’t download any. I like Chap, but not enough to download, but watch him on TCM sometimes.

@gjc82071 OH MY FUCKING GOD I NEED THIS SHIT ! LOL HOLY SHIT i LOVE 70′S AND 80′S stuff too! But I love almost everything that’s old, but I like 20′s and 30′s better… I’m addictec to Charlie Chaplin’s movies music and fashion, sometimes I think I would be happier if I lived in that time… :/ But I’m happy living in the XXI century anyway

Probably the best movie I have ever seen. Emile Hersch Played his ass off in this movie. He should have won an Oscar for it.

@the1comment I wonder how many of those tiny flames turn into a big unstoppable fire. I myself had that tiny flame enlightened in me after I watched it and whenever I think about this story, I really just want to leave all my possessions behind and really start writing, reading and thinking. Living! This summer I went hiking in Scotland and there I met a girl who is now probably my best friend. We were both amazed by this movie and we made plans to go on our own adventure together!

@helloeverybody995 God, don’t, even get me started on retro gaming, LOL. I have 16 real vintage game consoles & I’m really into video game emulation. Emulators allow you to play nearly any system, right on your PC. I have emulators for practically every game console/PC made between 1976 – 1996 & nearly every game ever made for them (75,000+ games). I really like stuff from the 70′s-mid 80′s. Movies, music, technology, architecture, interior design, cars, toys, etc…..almost any/everything.
