The Stranger

by John on December 6, 2011 in Movie Trailers

The War Crimes Commission sends Wilson to find Franz Kindler, mastermind of the Holocaust, who has effectively erased his identity. Wilson releases Kindler's former comrade Meinike and follows him to Harper, Connecticut, to track down Kindler. Unfortunately Meinike is murdered before he can identify Kindler. Wilson is only left with the knowledge of Kindler's fascination with antique clocks as a lead.

Wonderful Loretta Young! Other excellent actors such as Edward G. Robinson make it a completely satisfying viewing experience. Thank you for making it available.

Wow the audio is loud, but like the suspenseful thriller in this film, with a mixture of espianoge.

@scopttiemomma
When I watch films uploaded like this, I like to allow the video to load all the way or let it load to about the 20 minute mark or so before I start to watch the film. I also keep my eye on the loading bar thing while I watch the film & if it stops I just pause the movie & open another tab & begin to load the film where it stopped. Then I go back to the 1st tab & continue to watch the film.

I like the film but the buffering every 5 to 10 seconds means I have to wait to watch it. I get distracted while I wait for it to stop buffering, and then I miss long pieces of the film. At minute 8:40, of an Hour 30 minutes and 13 seconds it has been “playing” for over 35 minutes on my clock.
