I have to admit, the iPhone looks pretty cool. Of course, being Apple, they have great marketing and advertisements. All of this adds to the allure of the phone.
The $600.00 price tag is what has scared me off. It's not because we can't afford it (although I'd have to pawn my two children to be able to afford it), but it's because we all know that in 6 months, the price will be almost cut in half. Technology comes out constantly which makes purchasing something like this a losing endeavor. My main goal financially is not to purchase something that is worth half of what I paid for it 6 months prior.
I also am not going to buy one because I just recently bought the "Upstage" from Sprint. It is dual sided, with a phone on one side and an MP3 player on the other. From the MP3 side, you can also easily surf the web. This cost me a little over $200.00.
Plus, do you guys remember that movie about the beginnings of Apple and Microsoft? Gosh, I didn't like Steve Jobs after that.
So, I say NO to the new iPhone. Thank you very much...
